Nuckin’ Futs...

This comes from LGF (Good Job Charles), and it shows just how pitiful the extreme Left is.

*A real terrorist organization (25 votes, 19%)
* A once real terrorist organization that the administration is now using to get what they want (30 votes, 22%)
*A completely fictional organization (80 votes, 59%)

These answers come from where, you ask? Democratic Underground is the answer, and Holy cow, do these answers say a lot. This show how bad the Left like Kerry, Dean, Boxer, Kennedy, and Pelosi don’t get the GWOT. My apologies to those that these people had the inside track, but they don’t. They don’t have the faintest clue.

The question is on Democratic Undergrounds’ site, and it is simple. "What do you believe al-Qaeda is?" These are their answers. This is sick. These people can’t even recognize who our primary enemy is. And they claim the president is clueless. Get a grip, guys.

Much like World War II was initially against the Japanese thanks to Pearl Harbor, and al-Qaeda was when this war started, the war expanded to include Germany, Italy, and ALL terrorism, respectively, up to this point. Have we truly engaged all the terrorism the world has to offer? No, but that is the point. We have dealt with those in Afghanistan, and the government there is going well in it’s conception and evolution. In Iraq it is going well, too, despite the MSM’s attempts to paint a much bleaker picture than what is the truth.

The schools, hospitals, and much of the government is now under the control of the Iraqis. Over 100,000 Iraqi Security Force recruits have been trained an implemented. The government is established, and a constitution is well on it’s way, all on the heels of successful FREE elections held in January. I would say, thus far, Iraq is a success. As a matter of fact, even the hard Left has admitted such. Kennedy has admitted it, Reid has admitted it, and Pelosi has admitted it. So, why can’t the salivating masses? I am guessing that the likes of Reid, Kennedy, and Pelosi represent the "intellectual elite" of the party, and these drooling extremists have yet to get the memo.

But, to brighten their day, I bring a level of bad news to the forum. (Look at them licking their lips, and sharpening their claws...LOL) It seems we have a new problem—now confirmed—in Iraq. I’m not worried about our military, provided the administration does the right thing. It seems we now have Syrians—uniformed, armored, and armed—to deal with. The recent skirmish erupting on the border of Iraq and Syria has given us some very valuable intel.

Gone are the insurgents with their AK-47s, and their long flowing robes. In their place is an enemy far more cunning, more heavily outfitted in weapons and body armor, and they’re in uniforms. The only nation standing to lose right now is Syria, and it seems they have sent the insurgents some reinforcements. These people are wearing body armor. They are utilizing armor-piercing rounds in their weapons. And they’re using tactics not yet used by the terrorists, nor the native insurgency. The Washington Post (Lord, I hate giving them a plug or a link) has an excellent story regarding the findings of our troops. But needless to say, yes, it seems as though we’re dealing with a far more dangerous enemy now.

If the president were wise, he’d issue a statement regarding this development as a warning to Syria: Don’t get involved in this matter, or else...

For those not keeping score, the "or else" would be watching Damascus disappear under a hail of Cruise Missiles. This will not be tolerated, and it shouldn’t be. Oh, your side is losing, so you send in ringers? Not gonna happen, bub. If the Syrians are truly involved, which I think they are, then it’s time to send a clear message to them.

That clear message is more than the one sent to Saddam. His was "We don’t like you toying with WMDs, or your affiliation with terrorists." To Syria I would say "Don’t mess with us; you’re close to collapsing as it is. Don’t make the fall harder than it has to be."

If Syrians are operating in Iraq, and engaging our troops (I’m willing to give them the benfit of the doubt) then they have a lot to answer for. If these are rogue soldiers that have affiliations to terror groups, I weep for their families. Screw them. "You reap what you sow", and they reaped the whirlwind. I have no sympathy for them. And I have no sympathy for a nation sticking it’s nose where it doesn’t belong. It should be bitten off, and it just might end up being so...in the long run.

Publius II
