The Clueless Media Misses It Again
HT: Michelle Malkin)
When I saw this I was outraged. The rage subsided for the logic to take over.
It seems our "ever faithful, unbiased" media decided that they needed to release new Abu Ghraib photos. It is on a video loop here. A word of warning, if you are easily sickened, then don't view it. As a matter of fact, if the softies out there were repulsed by the images of the original Abu Ghraib photos, then don't watch it; you're likely to be as equally sickened again.
I'll put it to our readers in plain and simple terms. This isn't torture. these are interrogation methods that are not, in any way, physically or mentally scarring these people. Yes, there are wounds that are present on them, but in now way are their images of our troops inflicting these wounds on any of these prisoners. In addition, most of these images are quite tame. But these photos gave the WaPo a chance to revisit Abu Ghraib of 2004. Nice. But I'm afraid I have to agree with Michelle on this:
Why show the new Abu Ghraib photos, but yet not show the Mohammed cartoons?
Seems to be a bit hypocritical, if you ask me.
