Bombshell Document: Saddam's Ties To Terrorism

Captain Ed has a scathing document that was uncovered and translated that deals with Saddam Hussein's ties to terrorism. No, not the ties we have discussed, but one that goes a step further:

All rightie then. A smoking gun? Definitely. This shows that Saddam was intent on striking our interest in the Middle East through the use of kamikaze pilots. So, is there anything left to be found when it comes to his desire to use the tactics of terrorism to hit the US? There should not be, but the moonbat fringe, no doubt, will claim that this document is of no consequence.

And that, thus far, has been the reaction of the moonbats. They are disavowing these documents, tapes, and transcriptions as not a big deal. Yes, sure we knew he was a bad man, but it still does not point to WMDs, which is the sole point the moonbats continue to bring up. And when they do focus on that, they spit in the face of people like General Sada, Ibrahim al-Tikriti, and anyone else who claims that the WMDs were there before our invasion, and that they were moved out before, during, and after our invasion.

It is fine for them to point to the WMDs, but in doing so, they ignore the president's State of the Union speech outlining our reasons for going after Iraq:

The world has waited 12 years for Iraq to disarm. America will not accept a serious and mounting threat to our country, and our friends and our allies. The United States will ask the U.N. Security Council to convene on February the 5th to consider the facts of Iraq's ongoing defiance of the world. Secretary of State Powell will present information and intelligence about Iraqi's legal -- Iraq's illegal weapons programs, its attempt to hide those weapons from inspectors, and its links to terrorist groups.

Thus far, these reasons have been met. We have found WMD components in Iraq, and limited stockpiles of chemical weapons. We have uncovered Saddam's ties to terrorist groups, including al Qaeda. And with this document dump, we are learning more about his flaunting of UN resolutions and continued terrorist ties. Furthermore, these transcripts have shown that Saddam never considered his defeat in 1991 the end of his war with the United States. As is evident in the above transcript (care of JVeritas on Free Republic) Saddam was planning on kamikaze attacks against us and our interests abroad.

But I doubt the moonabts will accept this. As a matter of fact, with the amount of evidence already released, I find it hard to comprehend how these people cannot accept what has been released. Just as Ramsey Clark goes around defending pieces of garbage like Saddam, the moonbats cheer the most despicable creatures on Earth. These people, to them, were nothing more than reformers; people clearing the chaff from the wheat.

In my world, animals like Saddam Hussein and other tyrants would be lined up against a wall and shot. They bring no sort of reform for a civilized world. They bring death, destruction, and misery. And in their world, we would be subservient to their ambitions. In such a world, the United States is needed to stand up for freedom. As the UN has dropped that ball, it falls to us to pick it up and run with it. And while the moonbats scream and shriek that we are attacking "sovereign" nations, they neglect to admit that these tyrants despise the ideals we believe in. That is probably their stance because they do not espouse what America believes in. For them, America is the enemy. Meanwhile, the world has breathed a sigh of relief that america was here once again to bail its bacon out of the fire.
