Howling Mad Howie: The Gift That Keeps On Giving
Howling Mad Howie Dean, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, had a few words to say today. Needless to say, after uttering the following, I doubt he was hungry.
After all, no one swallows their foot as whole as he does.
“If you think what’s going on in the Middle East today would be going on if the Democrats were in control, it wouldn’t, because we would have worked day after day after day to make sure we didn’t get where we are today. We would have had the moral authority that Bill Clinton had when he brought together the Northern Irish and the IRA, when he brought together the Israelis and the Palestinians.”
The moral authority? Uh-huh, and their Middle East record was so good that they've tried to distance themselves from the failed attempts at engagement during the Clinton years with terrorist groups. Marcie posted earlier about Ahmadinejad's revised history regarding Israel, and it sounds like Howling Mad Howie's been drinking from the same punch bowl.
