Israel Demands A Retraction
The World Press Federation issued a nasty little statement, and Israel wants them to retract it, or they are walking. (Hat-Tip: Little Green Footballs)
Israel will leave the World Press Federation if the organization does not retract its comment regarding the IDF’s attacks on a television station belonging to the Hizbullah Al-Manar TV, Army Radio reported Sunday.
The Federation stated that Israel’s attacks were against the principle of the freedom of the press.
“The attacks on Al-Manar proves Israel’s policy of the use of force as a means of quieting press organizations with which Israel does not agree,” said Aidan White, Secretary-General of the Federation.
An official letter written to the Federation by Israeli reporters states that the condemnation of Israel’s actions represents overt support for terrorism.
Everyone, all together, BOO HOO.
Like Israel cares what some retarded media service thinks about how and why Israel is conducting this war. Please. These people are defending themselves, and I am so sorry that some propaganda agency was hit by an errant bomb, or missile, or rocket. Tell them to learn how to duck in a warzone. Of course if they were real war correspondants they would already know how to do that, now would they not?
And WE must concur with Israel. If the WPF continues to show this sort of "reporting" as legitimate and important (of course, it is equating the MSM with terrorists; a strange twist of fate I feel might even be lost on Bill Keller). These people have no credibility at all. I am not condoning the direct targeting of the building, as I am sure that not EVERYONE working for al-Manar is a Hezbollah terrorist, however I am not shedding any tears for what these people may go through, or what they have gone through.

I'm sure that Israel knew that aL-Manar is a Arab tv station owned by Hezbollah. In fact, I doubt that there's very little Israel doesn't know about Hezbollah including their relations with other terrorist organization. As you know Hezbollah has struck in about thirty (30) countries around the world-included but not limited to the UK, Denmark, Greece, Belgium, Italy, Spain, France, Argentina, Panama. They have a wife range of target. Military and goverment are only a couple of them. Rawriter
