Welcome To The New Look
This site was established in March of 2005, and it united my old site with Thomas' old site. For those that know us, this union was more than just a pair of bloggers joining forces to go after the liberal lies, hypocrisy, and deceit on a daily basis. It led us down a road neither us expected, but one that we have embraced and welcomed with open arms.
Since that time, we have our readers to thank for the success of our site, and we have to thank people like Jen, Raw, Hugh Hewitt, and Thomas Lindaman for all their help and support along the way. (Mr. Lindaman regularly publishes our "infamous" collaborative pieces on the monthly news round-ups on the first of every month.) During the course of the last year, we've marked the milestone of 10,000 hits, about 30, or so, links from other sites, and even noted that Howard Kurtz picked up on one of our blogs. As the old adage goes, you've come a long way baby. And we have our readers to thank for this.
Part of our new look on the site includes what you see on the left-hand column of the site. Yes, after months of toiling over how to work HTML code (neither Thomas, myself, or Sabrina know HTML code) we finally figured them out. As you see above, the links in HTML work work out a lot better in the blogs now than what they did. There is not stop-and-start feeling, and it allows us to continue unhindered when we write. Trust me, being stopped in mid thought to insert a lengthy link is not fun, nor is it productive. Likewise, now that we have the links on the sidebar, our usual day of checking sites--both blogs and news sites--is a veritable one-stop-shop for us now; we need only come home to run our checks.
In the course of this year, we have added a new "lunatic" to the Asylum. Many know her as "Mistress Pundit." We know her as Sabrina. She is a sharp, astute woman who tolerates little garbage from the Left, and is more than willing to engage them. She was drawn to our site during the Roberts confirmation hearings, and whereas she is busy, and finds little time to blog, when she does she is welcome here. We appreciate her help, especially during some hectic times over the past few months. She took over posting for me when I went into the hospital with a bronchial infection, and served as the comments moderator when the moonbats went on the attack. She is a knowledgeable ally in our continuing "war" against the liberal mindset.
So, we hope you enjoy the new look and links as much as we do, and we hope you continue to visit here. We try to do the best we can in the time we have. Thank you for your support, and God Bless.
