BREAKING NEWS: British Foil Bomb Plot

Police say they have disrupted a major plot to blow up planes in mid-flight with explosive devices smuggled aboard as hand luggage.
Sky News has been told the plan was to blow up around a dozen planes over UK and US cities. Police are said to have arrested 20 people in London - the culmination of a major covert counter-terrorist operation lasting several months.
Passengers trying to board international flights from the UK are not being allowed to carry on hand luggage.
The Home Office’s level of security - indicating public risk - has been raised from ‘severe’ to ‘critical’.
Sky News’ Crime Correspondent Martin Brunt said he understood the threat was imminent and those arrested were mainly young, British-born Asian men.
He said the alleged plan involved people boarding flights and detonating explosives on planes over UK and US cities.
The swoop followed a pre-planned intelligence led operation by the Met’s anti-terrorist branch and security service.
A police statement said: “This is a major operation which inevitably will be lengthy and complex. We will provide further information as soon as possible.”
Well, well. Here we go again. Just two short months ago, the Canadians caught and broke up a cell poised to commit a strike on prominent Canadian offices. It will be interesting to see who these guys belong to. Who are the masters at the end of these doggies' leashes? These men, if those arrested were Asian in ethnicity, then they do not fit the A-typical profile of a terrorist. At least not the ones who have hit London twice. More will come out about this one, but we should be commending Great Britain on their anti-terror tactics, and swift, decisive interdiction.

REUTERS (REMEMBER THEM?) LINKS PLOT TO BLAIR COOPERATING WITH US ON HEZBOLLAH-ISRAEL WAR ALTHOUGH BRITISH INTELLIGENCE INDICATES PLOT IN MAKING FOR MONTHS - LONG BEFORE WAR
Interesting note to the ethnicity of the men apprehended; quite possibly from or affiliated with al Qaeda, or the Taliban resistance that has decided to come out of hiding along the Pakistan/Afghanistan border regions. Supposition only here, folks. I'm brainstorming. Liquid explosives shows that they're adaptingto the more extensive security measures in many airports, including those in the West. And talk about bold; "as many as twenty planes involved" in this prevented attack? Can anyone imagine the possible devestation that could have occurred had Britian not stopped this attack?
I wonder if Ned Lamont, or any of the Democrat leaders who stabbed Joe Lieberman in the back are paying attention to this? I hope so, and I hope the message sinks in. We are at war. It's a war on terrorism. Regardless of the group they're affiliated with (Hezbollah is another possibility, to be sure, especially when stories like this one are found by citizen journalists far more intrepid than the MSM) our war is on terrorism.
